Our second day of Honoring the 12 Patriots buried at Old St Paul’s Lutheran Church in Newton NC on Saturday, May 21, 2022. It was very hot, many people from SAR and DAR, family menbers of the Patriots and church members turned out for the celebration. It was a fabulous day for everyone.

Catawba Valley Chapter President Ben Setser had the honor to present Cadet 1st Sgt Dinnen Frank with the SAR JROTC Bronze medal and certificate on Friday, April 29th at Statesville High School, Statesville NC. Congratulations Cadet Frank!

During a recent Court of Honor for Eagle Scout Aaron James Shaw of Troop 144, he was presented with the SAR Certificate of Recognition citing him “For outstanding achievement and exceptional leadership and citizenship evidenced by his attainment of the rank of Eagle Scout.”  The presentation was made by Halifax Resolves Chapter President Ken Wilson.
