Historic Halifax Site Managers Receive Certificates of Appreciation
Historic Halifax Site Manager Mr. Carl Burke and Assistant Site Manager Mr. Frank McMahon updated the Halifax Resolves Chapter on improvements that are planned for the historic site leading up to the 250th Anniversary celebration of the American Revolution.
Funds have been secured to renovate the Visitor’s Center and add some new displays. There are also plans for more work at the William R. Davie house and other projects they hope to complete before the celebration to include the purchase of a cannon for display at the Visitor’s Center.
Chapter President Ken Wilson presented both gentlemen with Certificates of Appreciation for their support of the chapter.
