Working in public service can put people’s lives in danger as they serve our own needs first. These brave men and women go to work everyday knowing that they may be at risk to help render assistance and aide to anybody who needs it in our community.

Every year, we work with local public service organizations to present one of their members who has exemplified outstanding service to our community. These organizations include:

  • Police, Sheriff and Highway Patrol Officers
  • Firefighters and Rescue Personnel
  • EMS and Emergency Responders

We present these SAR medals of heroism in the place that these brave men and women work, so their peers can enjoy and share their accomplishments.
