    Ken Wilson, President of the Halifax Resolves Chapter NC SAR, recently attended the Roanoke Rapids City Council meeting to present a Law Enforcement Commendation medal to patrolman Jamie Hardy of the Roanoke Rapids Police Department. The award reflected Hardy’s effort last year to disarm a suicidal man as well as his overall job performance.
