On May 26th and 27th, New Bern Chapter President, Rolf Maris, attended JROTC Award Ceremonies at two local high schools (New Bern High School and Havelock High School) to hand out medals and certificates to two cadets for their outstanding achievements.

Ken Wilson, President of the Halifax Resolves Chapter NC SAR, recently attended the Roanoke Rapids City Council meeting to present a Law Enforcement Commendation medal to patrolman Jamie Hardy of the Roanoke Rapids Police Department. The award reflected Hardy’s effort last year to disarm a suicidal man as well as his overall job performance.
