Grave Marking for 3 Patriots
The Halifax Resolves Chapter NCSSAR will mark the graves of 3 Patriots at the Allen & Coley Cemetery near Stem in Granville Co., NC on October 15 at 10:00. The Patriots are Sgt. William Allen (1763-1843); Ensign Archer Johnston, 1735-1813); Pvt. John Cassion Whitfield (1743-1832).
A post event Dutch treat luncheon will be held at the Hometown Cafe, 3370 US 1, Franklinton, NC.

___________________________________Compatriot Grave Marking
The Halifax Resolves Chapter NCSSAR and the Mecklenburg Chapter NCSSAR will host a joint grave marking ceremony on October 15, 2022 for Compatriot Frank Oliver Alford (55867 / 568). Compatriot Alford was a member of the Mecklenburg Chapter and is buried at the Oakwood Cemetery in Louisburg, NC. The ceremony will begin at 2:00.
