ZOOM - 240TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE BATTLE OF COWAN'S FORD
THE NATIONAL SOCIETY SONS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION, AND, THE MECKLENBURG CHAPTER, NORTH CAROLINA SAR,
INVITE YOU TO ATTEND THE 240TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE BATTLE OF COWAN’S FORD
PLEASE RSVP BELOW
SAR, DAR, C.A.R. and other patriotic and lineage societies & chapters are invited to participate in a VIRTUAL commemoration and wreath presentation ceremony to be held on Zoom. Participants presenting a wreath must RSVP via the form below no later than Sunday, January 24th.
As part of the commemoration, O.C. Stonestreet, IV, the author of The Battle of Cowan’s Ford: General Davidson’s Stand on the Catawba River, will give a presentation on the lesser known aspects of Gen. Davidson’s overall defensive plans in relationship to his stand at Cowan’s Ford.
