  • Blue Ridge Color Guard at Transylvania County Courthouse

    First North Carolina Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution. Chartered 21 April 1928 in Asheville, NorthCarolina, and later became the Blue Ridge Chapter.

    The Blue Ridge Chapter Color Guard will present Colors at the Transylvania County Courthouse at 11:00 a.m. on November 11, 2022, to help celebrate the annual Veterans Day Program.

    All members are invited to attend this solemn ceremony and honor all of our veterans.

    It is easy to see that the Blue Ridge Chapter is an active, energetic and busy chapter that is always looking for new members to help us reach our challenging goals for the recognition of the sacrifices our Patriots made for us to enjoy the freedoms we have today.

    The Blue Ridge Chapter Color Guard will present Colors at the DAR-led Grave Marking Ceremony for Patriot Maybin at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 3582 Mt. Olivet Rd., Zirconia, NC.

    All members are invited to attend this solemn event and honor the sacrifices he made for us to have the freedoms we have today.

  • Blue Ridge Color Guard Naturalization Ceremony In Charlotte, North Carolina

    First North Carolina Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution. Chartered 21 April 1928 in Asheville, North Carolina, and later became the Blue Ridge Chapter.

    The Blue Ridge Chapter Color Guard will present Colors at the United States Naturalization Ceremony at the Charles R. Jonas Federal Building, 401 West Trade Street in Charlotte, NC.

    All members are invited to attend this solemn event and applaud the courage it took to leave their homeland behind and start all over in the greatest nation in the world.

    It is easy to see that the Blue Ridge Chapter is an active, energetic, and busy chapter that is always looking for new members to help us reach our challenging goals for the recognition of the sacrifices our Patriots made for us to enjoy the freedoms we have today.
