The Halifax Academy 5^th grade class invited Halifax Resolves Chapter President Ken Wilson to speak to them about the SAR poster contest.  The subject of this year’s contest is a Revolutionary War event. Wilson presented some examples of events, but left the choice of the event up to the student.  Numerous questions were answered not only about the contest, but also about Wilson’s Colonial clothing.  The posters will be judged at the March 12^th chapter meeting.  The chapter level winner will receive a winner’s certificate and a check for $100.00.  The winner’s poster will be forwarded to the state level contest to be held on May 14^th at Alamance Battleground.
