On 8 November, Gary Gillette (representing the Air Force) and Robert Mull (representing the Army), both members of the NCSAR New Bern Chapter, spoke with approximately 450 children (K – 5) at the Bangert Elementary School in New Bern, about Veterans Day. This is the 5th year, that members of the SAR Chapter, has had the opportunity, and honor, to meet with the Bangert classes, and talk about the importance of Veterans Day.
