Constitution Day, Friday, 17 September 2021, Catawba Valley Chapter had the privilege to join John Hoyle Chapter DAR along with marching and rolling stock from Catawba County Sheriff’s Office, Newton Police Department, American Legion Post 544 and contingents from several JROTC classes conducted a small Parade for the students of South Newton Elementary School. We lead off the parade, posted Colors, led the Pledge of Allegiance, and watched the parade pass until the ladies from John Hoyle Chapter, who took up the end of the parade drew nigh, where we retrieved Colors and joined them for the conclusion. The children and adults were fabulous!
