On December 19th, in front of the Tryon Palace in New Bern, Jay DeLoach, President of the New Bern Chapter, inducted Robert Webster, into the Sons of the American Revolution. Robert’s Patriot Ancestor is Jacob Reed, Sr, who served as Lt Col under Col Daniel Heister and paid Supply Tax in 1780. Joining Robert at his induction ceremony was his wife Bobbi, his son Carleton, and his Daughter-In-Law, Sarah. Also attending the ceremony were Bob Ainsley, New Bern Chapter Vice President, and Gary Gillette, New Bern Chapter Registrar.
