During the November meeting of the New Bern SAR Chapter, Gary Rigg, Director of Interpretive Programs for the Tryon Place in New Bern, provided a presentation and demonstration, on Revolutionary uniforms, various personal items and rifles, during this period. The presentation was in anticipation of the New Bern Chapter developing it’s own “Color Guard”.   Gary was assisted by Gerry Strickland and Rolf Maris, both of the New Bern Chapter.  At the end of the presentation, Gary Rigg was presented a Certificate of Appreciation, from Jay DeLoach, President of the New Bern Chapter.
