On November 17 at the Oakdale Cemetery in Washington, NC, New Bern Chapter officers participated in the Compatriot Grave Marking Dedication Ceremony honoring three NCSSAR State Presidents – Stephen Cambreleng Bragaw (1st State President), Frank Cannon Kugler (2nd State President), and Franklin Havens Bryan (4th State President). Several descendants of Frank Cannon Kugler attended the ceremony and one, a DAR member, spoke about her grandfather’s accomplishments.
