Compatriot Michael Aaron Cooper of the Halifax Resolves Chapter NC SAR was recently awarded the Sons of the American Revolution War Service Medal in recognition of his service to the nation while deployed to Iraq.  Cooper was also presented with the SAR Southwest Asia Veterans Corp certificate.
