On May 23, Rear Admiral, US Navy (Ret.) Jay DeLoach, VP of the New Bern Chapter, presented Eagle Scout Recognition Certificates to six new Eagle Scouts of Troop 13, at Centenary Methodist Church in New Bern. The SAR is committed to promoting Americanism and good citizenship. Troop 13 is led by Scoutmaster Tim Mitchell, who has an impressive track record in developing Eagle Scouts – our next generation of young leaders.
