Halifax Resolves Chapter Sons of the American Revolution President Ken Wilson visited the 4^th grade at Manning Elementary School to invite them to participate in the SAR Poster contest.  The theme this year pertains to local Patriots.  After explaining the contest to the students, Wilson presented a program about some of the better known Patriots from the local area like Willie (Wylie) Jones, Gen. Allen Jones, Nicholas Long and Nathaniel Macon.  Six classes participated in the four presentations.
