Trey Tyson, III and Jerry Porter were inducted into the New Bern Chapter, Sons of the American Revolution as our newest members on Saturday, 2 April 2022, 0930-1000 at the Pollock Street Gate, Tryon Palace, New Bern, NC. Joining Trey for the ceremony were his parents, Chuck and Jeannie Tyson, wife Ashleigh, daughter Ava and sister Leanna. Jeannie and Leanna are members of the Richard Dobbs Spaight Chapter – Daughters of the American Revolution. Joining Jerry was his wife Naomi who is a member of the Joseph Montfort Chapter – Daughters of the American Revolution.
