Chartered 21 April 1928 in Asheville, North Carolina, it later became the Blue Ridge Chapter and is the oldest active Chapter in Western North Carolina.

On November 8, 2025, at the Williamson-Patton Cemetery in Naples, North Carolina, The Blue Ridge Color Guard presented colors for Patriot Williamson. The Blue Ridge Chapter also provided the order of service with Craig Issacson presiding as Master of Ceremony. Brett Callaway, David Linton and Garry Linton read various parts of the program. Tom Rightmyer served as Chaplain and David Gallentine was in attendance.

The Blue Ridge Chapter provided a wreath and rendered honors. Daughters of the American Revolution who rendered honors and provided wreaths were, Ruth Davidson Chapter (Becky Wood) and Abraham Kuykendall Chapter members (Connie Issacson and Karen Newhall).

Blue Ridge Color Guard members were, Brett Callaway, Larry Chapman, Craig Issacson, Brian McCall, Ken Weglarz, Jack Tate, and Bob Wood. There were 26 people attending this event.

On November 13, 2025, new Blue Ridge Chapter Flag Certificate Chairman Mike Mills, Craig Issacson and Garry Linton presented Fire Chief Mark Wilson of the Mountain Home Fire Department a certificate for the proper display of the American Flag.

On November 20, 2025, at the Madison County Middle School, approximately 200 students and several teachers were provided an educational program on flags, rations, tools, games, and clothing of the American Revolutionary period. Blue Ridge Chapter member Jack Tate planned and coordinated and was assisted by Blue Ridge Chapter members Craig Issacson, Garry Linton, Ken Weglarz, and DAR members Connie Issacson and Karen Newhall.

It is easy to see that the Blue Ridge Chapter is an active, energetic, busy Chapter that is always looking for new members to help us reach challenging goals for the recognition of the sacrifices our Patriots made for us to enjoy all the freedoms we have today.
