Chartered 21 April 1928 in Asheville, North Carolina, later became the Blue Ridge Chapter and is the oldest active Chapter in Western North Carolina.

On Friday, March 22, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at the Weaverville Museum, 60 Lakeshore Drive in Weaverville, North Carolina Color Guard members Craig Issacson And Garry Linton will provide an astounding educational program on the Revolutionary War Soldier and the Southern Campaign.

Blue Ridge Chapter Color Guard will be honoring 5 Patriots at a Grave Marking Ceremony in late April in Leicester, North Carolina (date to be determined)

On Friday, May 10, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the Federal Courthouse in Asheville, North Carolina the Blue Ridge Chapter Color Guard will be presenting Colors for the Naturalization Ceremony.

On Thursday, July 4, 2024, at the Hendersonville 4th of July Parade in Hendersonville, North Carolina the Blue Ridge Color Guard will be presenting Colors at the parade.

On Friday, September 20, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the Federal Courthouse in Asheville, North Carolina the Blue Ridge Color Guard will be presenting Colors for the Naturalization Ceremony.

Will announce more Blue Ridge Chapter events as they become finalized.

(The Blue Ridge Chapter is looking for two members to be on the Executive Committee. One, as a Chapter Genealogist, and one to support the Treasurer.)

 

It is easy to see that the Blue Ridge Chapter is an active, energetic, busy Chapter that is always looking for new members to help us reach our challenging goals for the recognition of the sacrifices our Patriots made for us to enjoy all the freedoms we have today.
