On Friday, 10 March 2023, the New Bern Chapter inducted (from l to r) Jim Hill, Dobert Owsley and Ron Fry into the Sons of the American Revolution at the NC History Center, New Bern, NC.  Chapter Color Guard members in attendance were Bruce Martin, Jay DeLoach, Scott Brick, Rob Webster, Rolf Maris, Bob Ainsley and Bob Rigg.  Jim Hill’s wife, Joanne Hill (Registrar, Joseph Montfort Chapter, DAR) pinned-on his SAR Rosette. Dobert Owsley’s grandson, Lim Ewing, pinned-on his SAR Rosette. Other family members joining Dobert were his wife, Michelle; daughter, Amy Ewing; and granddaughters Finley and Riley Ewing.  A patriotic welcome to our newest members! LIBERTAS ET PATRIA!
