First North Carolina Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution. Chartered 21 April 1928 in Asheville, North Carolina, and later became the Blue Ridge Chapter.

On Veterans Day, November 11, 2022, the Blue Ridge Color Guard presented colors at the Transylvania County Veterans Day Parade in Brevard, North Carolina.

On November 12, 2022, the Blue Ridge Color Guard in conjunction with the DAR performed a grave marking ceremony at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Zirconia, North Carolina for Patriot Matthew Maybin.

On November 18, 2022, the Blue Ridge Color Guard was again presenting colors at the Charles R. Jonas Federal Building in Charlotte, North Carolina for the naturalization of 50 new American citizens from Asia, Africa, and Europe.

It is easy to see that the Blue Ridge Chapter is an active, energetic busy chapter that is always looking for new members to help us reach our challenging goals for the recognition of the sacrifices our Patriots made for us to enjoy all the freedoms we have today.
