Nash Central HS History Classes Hear About the Colonial Militia and their Hardships

At the invitation of Nash Central HS AP History teacher Mr. Renny Taylor, Ken Wilson of the Halifax Resolves Chapter NC SAR presented a program om the Colonial Militia to the U.S. History Honors class.

When addressing the AP History class, Wilson spoke first about the George S. and Stella M. Knight Essay Contest and answered question from the students concerning the essay criteria. He then talked about the Colonial Militia, their hardships when called upon to fight and their effect on the war effort.
