On December 12th, Lee Purcell, Flag Chairman of the New Bern SAR Chapter, presented Mike Wilson, and Sgt. Maj. John Gonzales (USMC Retired), both residents of New Bern, Flag Certificates. The SAR Flag Certificate is presented to organizations, businesses, and individuals, in recognition of their Exemplary Patriotism in displaying the Flag of the United States of America.
