On December 20th, the New Bern Chapter of the NC Sons of the American Revolution awarded the Bronze Good Citizenship Medal to the 2019 Young Marine of the Year, David Williams III, of the New Bern unit. The Young Marine of New Bern unit recently won the Best Unit at the Battalion, Regiment, and Division levels. They will go on to compete for the National title in early 2020.
