At the June 4th meeting of the Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA), Chapter 886 of New Bern, Gary Gillette, Registrar of the NCSSAR New Bern Chapter, and VVA member, presented an SAR “Flag Certificate” to the VVA Chapter. The Flag Certificate is presented to organizations and businesses, in recognition of their “Exemplary Patriotism in the display of the Flag of the United States of America”.
