On April 6 at the Banquet of the NCSSAR 91st Annual Convention in Raleigh, Past President of the New Bern Chapter, Rolf Maris, was award the prestigious Patriot Medal. The Patriot Medal is the highest award presented to a Compatriot by a State Society and recognizes long, faithful, outstanding, and distinguished service at the state and chapter.
