Belmont Elementary School in Roanoke Rapids was the recent recipient of the Sons of the American Revolution Flag Certificate.  This certificate is awarded to individuals, organizations and companies “In Recognition of Exemplary Patriotism in the Display of the Flag of the United States of America”. The certificate was presented by Halifax Resolves Chapter member Ken Wilson to Belmont Elementary School Asst. Principal Mr. Jance Moody.
