On May 12th, Gary Gillette, VP & Registrar, of the New Bern Chapter, attended the National JROTC Awards Ceremony at the West Craven High School in Vanceboro, NC.  This year’s recipient of the SAR JROTC Medal was Cadet Jeffery Kornegay.  Cadet Kornegay is the current AS-2 Flight Commander and was also selected to attend his second, Cadet Officer Leadership school.  Our congratulations to Cadet Kornegay.
