Colton Copeland Wins 1st Place in the NCSSAR Brochure Contest.

Halifax Academy 8th grade student Colton Copeland won 1st place in the NCSSAR Brochure contest. His entry, sponsored by the Halifax Resolves Chapter, discussed the aspects of the 2nd Amendment of the Constitution. For his efforts, Colton received a check for $250.00. His teacher, Ms. Tracey Lynch, received a check for $100.00 as the sponsoring teacher. Colton’s entry has been forwarded to the national level contest to be held in Louisville, KY in late June. Halifax Resolves Chapter Past President Ken Wilson made the presentation.
