The Mecklenburg Chapter, North Carolina Society, Sons of the American Revolution, is located in historic Charlotte, NC. The Revolutionary War marched through the middle of Charlotte and our area is rich in history, memory, and documented Patriot ancestry.

The Mecklenburg Chapter was chartered on April 27, 1928, as a chapter of the State of North Carolina Society of the sons of the American Revolution. Our annual dues are $110.00, which includes all chapter, state, and national dues. Download Our Chapter New Membership Brochure!

We meet four (4) times each year at the Olde Mecklenburg Brewery, 4150 Yancey Road, Charlotte. We always welcome men who are interested in joining the SAR for dinner and socializing beginning at 6:00 p.m. each meeting time. For more information, visit our homepage.
