Patriot Monument Unveiling Ceremony in Charlotte

The Mecklenburg chapter SAR and the Mecklenburg Declaration of Independence chapter DAR invite you to attend a historical marker unveiling ceremony for Patriot Ephraim Brevard beginning at 10:30am at the Old Settlers’ Cemetery, 200 W Trade Street, in Uptown Charlotte 28202. Please park on the street located all around the cemetery. Patriot Brevard was an author and signer of the Mecklenburg Declaration of Independence, a Captain at the Battle of Moore’s Creek Bridge, a prisoner of war in Charleston and a surgeon with the 1st North Carolina.
