Blue Ridge Chapter April 2026 Activity
Chartered 21 April 1928 in Asheville, North Carolina, it later became the Blue Ridge Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution and is the oldest active Chapter in Western North Carolina.
On April 13, 2026, at the Fletcher North Carolina Town Council Meeting, Mayor Preston Blakely, for the proper presentation of the American Flag, was awarded a Certified Flag Certificate by Blue Ridge Chapter compatriots Mike Mills and David Linton.

On April 15, 2026, in Flat Rock, North Carolina, at the Blue Ridge Community College History Fair, Blue Ridge Chapter compatriots Craig Issacson and Garry Linton provided a display about the SAR and the daily rations of the Patriot army to about 30 very impressed students.

It is easy to see that the Blue Ridge Chapter is an active, energetic, busy Chapter that is always looking for new members to help us reach our challenging goals for the recognition of the sacrifices our Patriots made for us to enjoy all the freedoms we have today.
