The New Bern Chapter of the NC Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) presented the Bronze Good Citizenship Medal to Barry Alexander for organizing, planning, and executing the National Guard Family Day BBQ at the National Guard Armory on September 15 for over 250 National Guard and their families. Certificates of Appreciation were also awarded to Joyce Alexander, Linda Moore and Vivian Moore for their efforts in the preparation, cooking and serving for the BBQ.
