On July 13, the NC Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) New Bern Chapter inducted two new members – Ed Stinson and Jim Morrison. Ed Stinson’s Patriot Ancestor is Samuel Stinson who served as a Private in the Continental Army from Massachusetts. Jim Morrison’s Patriot Ancestor is Alexander Burns who served as a Private in the 1st Continental Regiment of Pennsylvania.
