Boy Scout Troop 144 of Roanoke Rapids, the Halifax Resolves Chapter NC SAR and the Alamance Battleground Chapter NC SAR will host a flag retirement ceremony at Veterans Park, 701 Roanoke Ave., Roanoke Rapids at 10:00 am on September 22nd.  The ceremony will be conducted by the scouts and the disposal will be handled by the SAR.  For more information, please contact Ken Wilson at 252-537-5406 or .
