On March 27^th, in front of the Tryon Palace in New Bern, Stanley (Lee) R. Purcell, Jr, was inducted into the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR).  In the past 2 years, the New Bern Chapter has doubled in the number of its members, and with its history, the Tryon Palace provided an excellent backdrop for Lee’s induction into the organization.
