Blue Ridge Color Guard Speaks on Health and Disease During Revolutionary War

Chartered 21 April 1928 in Asheville, North Carolina, later became the Blue Ridge Chapter and is the oldest active Chapter in Western North Carolina.

On June 28, 2024, at the Dry Ridge Historical Museum in Weaverville, North Carolina, Blue Ridge Chapter Color Guard Commander Garry Linton gave a fascinating and detailed educational program on all the issues of health and disease that occurred during the Revolutionary War. The 25 folks who attended this event, were enlightened by the effect this had on the Revolutionary War for both sides.

It is easy to see that the Blue Ridge is an active, energetic, busy Chapter that is always looking for new members to help us reach our challenging goals for the recognition of the sacrifices our Patriots made for us to enjoy all the freedoms we have today.
