Chartered 21 April 1928 in Asheville, North Carolina, later became the Blue Ridge Chapter and is the oldest active Chapter in Western North Carolina.

The Blue Ridge Chapter cordially invites you to attend the Grave Marking Ceremony for Patriots Joseph Cole, Joseph Harrison, John Hays, Peter Plemmons, and Valentine Thrash on April 27, 2024, at the Newfound Baptist Church Cemetery in Leicester, North Carolina at 11:00 a.m. This honorable program will celebrate the sacrifices of these Patriots. The program will include the SAR Color Guard, Musket Company Salute, Wreath Laying, and Rendering Honors by the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
