On Saturday, December 2^nd, the New Bern Chapter of the NC Sons of the American Revolution, the Richard Dobbs Spaight Chapter of the NC Daughter of the American Revolution, and the Tryon Palace, Fife and Drum Corp, joined 116 other participating groups/organization/businesses, in the 2023 New Bern City Christmas Parade. It was a fantastic event, going down the center of New Bern, and lasting about 1 1/2 hours.  The city streets were full of happy spectators, enjoying the parade.  SAR members participating in the parade were: Bob Ainsley, Gary Gillette, Lee Purcell, Bruce Martin, Scott Brick, Warren Knudson, Ed Stinson, Glen Carpenter and Bob Mull.
