On July 19th, members of the new Bern Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution, hosted and accompanied, residents and staff members, from the NC Veterans Home in Kinston, NC, to a Wood Ducks baseball game. This was also Military Appreciation Day at the ball field. SAR members in attendance were Paul Higbee, Bruce Martin, Glen Carpenter and Bob Mull.
