On Friday evening, Dec 9th, during the “Live Window Display” in downtown New Bern, members of the Sons and Daughters of the American Revolution, participated in a “Walk About Town”. The purpose of the “Walk About”, was to generate interest, and help educate passersby, in the history of the American Revolution, as well as the how the City of New Bern played such a large part in our history. Those participating in the “Walk About” were Gary Gillette, Bob Ainsley and Bruce Martin (NCSAR New Bern Chapter) and Tammy Gillette (NCSSDAR, Richard Dobbs Spaight Chapter).
