On Saturday, August 27^th, the New Bern Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution, along with the Richard Dobbs Spaight Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, presented a “Certificate of Appreciation” to Virginia Spencer, owner of Carolina Creations, in New Bern, The Certificate recognizes the support she and her staff provided to the 248th Anniversary Observance of the New Bern Resolves, also held on August 27^th.  Pictured from Left to Right are: Sims Wayt (Regent, RDS Chapter DAR), Scott Brick (New Bern Chapter SAR), Virginia Spencer, Gary Gillette (Registrar, New Bern Chapter SAR) and Dr. Bob Ainsley (President, New Bern Chapter SAR).
