The New Bern SAR Chapter awarded the Wounded Warrior Coin to four veterans on Friday, 8 July 2022 at the fund-raising supper (program managed by New Bern member Rob Webster, MSGT, USMC (Ret)) in support of the Jacksonville, NC Veteran Center held at the VFW, Post 2514. The Wounded Warrior Coin was presented to (L to R) Adam Marhefke (New Bern Chapter member), Jason Rodriguez, Alex Gutierrez and Robert Harrell for their dedication, service and sacrifice to our nation and their continued dedication and service to veterans. Dr. Bob Ainsley, New Bern SAR Chapter President made the presentation in support of the SAR Patriotic Goal: Honor, respect, and support veterans, especially those in the Department of Veterans Affairs hospital facilities.
