The New Bern Chapter inducted ROBERT “BOB” PRESTON SAVACOOL and BRIAN ROBERT DONHAM into the Sons of the American Revolution at the Pollock Street gate of Tryon Palace, New Bern, NC on Thursday, 20 January 2022 at 1200. Bob Savacool’s Patriot is Private William Savacool (NJ Volunteer Militia) and Brian Donham’s Patriot is Private Nathaniel Dunham (1st NJ Continental Line). Attending the ceremony in color guard dress were Bob Ainsley (President), Gary Gillette (Registrar), Scott Brick (Secretary), Lee Purcell, Bruce Martin AND members in coat-and-tie with SAR Rosette were Bob Rigg, Rick Layton and Ed Stinson.
