On December 16, 2020 at approximately 2015 hours Mr. William Jones, Jr., was working at Lowe’s Home Improvements in Roanoke Rapids and discovered a fellow employee unconscious, unresponsive and turning blue. Mr. Jones immediately began CPR until relieved by first responders at approximately 2030 hours. He is credited with sustaining his fellow employee’s life until the arrival of first responders. The employee was transported to Vidant North Hospital with a pulse and turned over to ER doctors. The patient has since recovered and returned to work at Lowe’s.
