On September 14, the New Bern Chapter inducted two new members: David Wayt whose Patriot Ancestor was Captain Joseph McDowell of the NC militia and fought at the Battle of Kings Mountain; and Dr. James Warren who Patriot Ancestor was Richard Warren, a Justice of the Peace.
