On November 6th, members of the New Bern Chapter of the SAR, along with the Richard Dobbs Spaight Chapter of the DAR, watched more than two dozen people officially become U.S. citizens. The Naturalization ceremony was held at the History Center, at the Tryon Palace, in New Bern. U.S. District Judge Louise Flanagan led the 25 candidates for citizenship, in the oath of allegiance.
