On September 17, SAR Color Guardsmen from the NC SAR New Bern Chapter and General George Washington Chapter, plus a Color Guardsmen from the SC SAR Francis Marion Chapter, presented the colors at the Ringing of the Bells ceremony hosted by the NC DAR Richard Dobbs Spaight Chapter of New Bern. The ceremony was held at the gates of the Tryon Palace in New Bern.
