On July 27th, Compatriots of the New Bern SAR Chapter performed a flag raising ceremony at the most recent Habitat for Humanity home dedication, located at 876 Howard Street in New Bern. The new owners are Gale Headen and her family. Bob Rigg and Ed Perkins, of the New Bern Chapter, provided the American flag in the Color Guard, led the attendees in the Pledge of Allegiance, and presented the Headen family with a booklet on the US Constitution.
