Calvary Baptist in Roanoke Rapids invited the SAR to honor veterans during their two Sunday morning worship services.  Alamance Battleground Chapter past President Dr. Sam Powell and Halifax Resolves Chapter past President Ken Wilson conducted the ceremonies.  Following their opening remarks, they explained the meaning of each item on the Missing Man table.  They concluded the ceremony by folding a U.S. flag as the meaning of each fold was read and then placing the flag on the Missing Man table.   Approximately 40 veterans in the congregation were recognized for their service to the nation.
